the extra report is exceedingly unlikely to be useful, it's just putting off a necessary vote for a later day when there's potentially less benefit. I don't see the point even though it's a totally legitimate strategy

by pure mathematics it might even be sub-optimal

if they end up lynching outside the cops they will lynch you instead because jan2 is an established setup with no room for free thought.

this was also a problem in AnD

If the whole town is voting between cc's there's no reason to split, but gamethrowing is always defined by intent.
