There are no good sides to a war...any war...Both sides are huge ***...People here are just arguing about who is the better ***...BUT GUESS WHAT??? THERE STILL BOTH ***
Shin, by supporting hamas, like you have indicated already. You support terrorists and there agenda, which is to obliterate Israel and everyone in it.
shinchan i hope u take the time to read all of this
and everyone needs to watch that last video and it should be documented that israel did not fire a air strike there because it was too densely populated
hamas is a representation of most im not saying all but the UN held an "election" where hamas won
Israel wants peace too Gaza are the ones that have yet to accept a cease fire agreement israel accepted four and hamas started the war by firing missles and kidnapping 3 israeli teenagers and burning them alive
THEN WHY DID THE PALESTINIANS VOTE HAMAS. AND WHY DO THE PALESTINIANS LET HAMAS FIRE ROCKETS FROM THEIR HOUSES THEIR CHILDRENS SCHOOLS AS WELL AS BUILD TUNNLES FROM THEIR HOUSE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-WryT5Szzw this video shows that your innocent palestinians that got killed allowed hamas to build a tunnel from their house in order to kill jews
Genocide and end it - peace
http://conservativetribune.com/obama-funding-hamas/ usa funds 200m dollars palestinian authority=hamas
http://www.timesofisrael.com/us-blocked-qatari-funds-intended-for-hamas-employees/ qatar has been funding hamas for a while usa blocked. usa genuinly thought they were funding civilians but hamas took it to make tunnels.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KakxXN5Z-XI
Hamas is also not representative of all Palestinians -

I totally agree with the comment on Palestinian civilians being caught in the middle. I just think there is a much better solution than the one currently being put forth by Israel.
Please highlight any thing I have said in which I have said I support genocide. Slurs such as this are a reason I created this topic - I'm not an anti-semite, I don't support genocide -what I support is a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
"Hamas is designated as a terrorist organization by Israel, the United States,[11] the United Kingdom,[12] Canada,[13] the European Union,[14][15] Jordan,[16] Egypt,[17] Australia,[18] and Japan.[19]"
What i dont think you understand is that it is not Palestine vs Israel. Its Hamas, a terrorist organization, vs Israel. Palestinians are caught in the middle.
I find it equally appalling that you support Genocide.
Stop selective news reading and review the link spurs posted. I dont see IDF doing 90% of the hideous crap you see in Hamas. Im non chalant because you are sympathizing for the terrorists launching un-guided rockets into Israel. Hamas dosnt have the weaponry to control what they hit, they just "hope" is accomplish part of there over all mission... The death of everyone in Israel. There is two sides here, Israel, who has called for and agreed to several cease fires, a country defending itself. Then Hamas, who has openly stated and does not hide the fact that the reason is started attacking was because they want everyone in Israel dead... At the cost of there own people. They dont care about the consequences, fact. They just want Israeli extinction.

To be honest, I think both sides have extremely flawed views, then again so do all of the other groups that are currently engaged in combat (e.g. Ukraine, Syria, Libya, South Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, the list goes on).
The world seems to be in quite a mess at the moment.
Erm it was Israel who bombed UN schools... (http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/aug/03/us-appalled-disgraceful-israeli-shelling-gaza-un-school)
Hamas have hidden rockets in UN schools which I agree is wrong.
I don't mean any disrespect when I say this but I find it utterly deplorable when the killing of over 1,300 Palestinians, at least 75 percent of whom are civilians, and injuring another 7,100, is decreed by you as collateral damage. The fact you are so nonchalant when faced with statistics such as this, in my personal opinion, is quite worrying.
There is also the question of whether the actions of Israel’s assaults on forty-six of Gaza’s fishing boats or its attacks on Day Sixteen of Protective Edge against agricultural sites in the Northern Gaza Strip, Gaza City, the Central Gaza Strip, Khan Yunis, and Rafah is really self defence? Or destroying Palestines only power plant which will leave many of the Palestinian territory's of1.8 million people without electricity. Is this self defence? Or Israel rendering two-thirds of Gaza’s wheat mills inoperative and the need of 3,000 of Gaza’s herders for animal feed as self defence. Action such as this will lead to mass starvation in Palestine. Is this still really self defence?
its to long for me to read, but I'm glad to see a much needed political debate here.
I also (I think) agree with you, I support a two state solution to the conflict, which according to some of my friends makes me an anti-Semite.
also, there is plenty of videos out there and i know first hand, having been to war in the middle east... that the equipment Hamas is using.. is old and multifunctional.
You can find videos of terrorists in Hamas attempting to shoot mortars into Israel, consecutively, just to see it malfunction and blow up in there face, killing themselves and the children and civilians nearby.
ahh there we go, awesome find Spurs.
Shin, i know its hard for you to understand but when an enemy attacks you and admits that its sole reason and agenda is to wipe you off the face of the planet... You retaliate. As i stated before, in war, collateral damage is inevitable. It can not be helped but limited and controlled. Look at it from both point of views. Is Hamas not indiscriminately launching mortar and missile strikes into Israel? Are they not targeting UN schools and places the Geneva convention outlaws attacks on in times of war? There is nothing humanitarian about what Hamas is doing and it is not wrong for Israel to defend its self. If someone broke into you home and starting beating up your loved ones, would you not retaliate with equal or greater force?
@dogstendtofly I wholly disagree with Hamas' decision to invest in the tunnels, however do you really think the actions of Hamas are justified reason for the disproportionate amount of civilian casualties?
Could you please provide me with a source for your claim of 600 million from Qatar? I can't find any evidence supporting that!
hamas put their civilians in danger while israel protects the civilians if hamas used the 600 mil they got from qatar and the us to build hospitals schools and revamp gaza. Instead hamas used it to build tunnels with the sole goal of killing israeli civilians
