Major Improvement for Dice Wars

The main strategy in dice wars now it seems is to wait for kicks and then kick a still-active player. Is there anyway a kicked player could take back control of any remaining territories the turn after he/she was kicked?

Especially in such a fast-paced game where your turn happens every two minutes or so. Making alliances can take up most of the time and I see so many players going first get kicked.
