So, we've all seen it happen. You're playing cop and on D1 the mafia outs first, "Guilty Ishearia!" they say. Luckily, you've got a guilty on their partner, so you out it, "I CC, guilty your partner!" you say, before NL'ing to avoid a fourway. So you have both mafia on D1, this is perhaps the worst position to be in on Epic Mafia, because there is no reason for you to get another report, there are two mafia and you know whom they both are from your point of view on D1, so you have all the inno's and all the guilties you'll need. Yet, now you have to decide who you'll go on with your D2 report. You have three options of course; you could check that whomever it is that CC'd you isn't trolling, however that puts you at risk of being called a noob by the town for checking your CC; you could check somebody random and out an inno, but there's no reason to do this if you have two mafia and a clever towny might decide that because you felt the need to check somebody else when you should already know whom is inno and whom isn't that you must not have realised the fact and therefore will scumread you, because that makes sense right? The third option, of course, is to not investigate anybody. This makes sense logically, you have all the mafia, it's pretty much confirmed, a cop who's on the ball will realise that there's no use in getting another report assuming that your CC isn't just a trolling towny. So, I'd like to know what the most common interpretation of this very common problem is.
