Help Balancing A Game

Hi Everyone!

I play mafia on another forum, and volunteered to run a theme game for the people there. It's a larger game and has 2 mafias in it, so I wanted some help to make sure it was balanced and fair, so I asked one of our regulars who is not playing to look it over. He added a ton of special roles (I only had 4 for the civs) and I am concerned it's way too complicated to be balanced now. Would anyone here be willing to look over this setup and help me finalize it before we start on Monday?

The guy helping went all over my spreadsheet adding a ton of roles.

He added:

1) Replaced mafia roleblocker with mafia watcher

2) A sniffer to the civs who can tell if a player is recruit able

3) A roleblocker to the civs

4) An alignment cop

5) An Indy with one hit, one roleblock, and one investigation that are used all at once or not at all

6) three civs are now masons, one a Bodyguard.

It really seems like overkill to me. Thoughts?

I'll post my basic setup in the event any one has suggestions:

2 mafias, each have 3 members
1) one mafia has a godfather, the other has a leader with an extra hit every other night

2) one mafia has a silencer, the other a roleblocker

3) The third member of each mafia has no ability

14 Civs:
2 recruitable to mafia as basic mafia
One Cop
One Jailer
One with one vig hit
One with ability to survive one lynch or hit
