dave plays a game where he employs a bad strategy, it heavily backfires on him, and the game vegs before autoloss for mafia can happen. dave plays another game where he employs the exact same strategy and only wins because the lylo consisted of howl and triaft, even though i nonchalantly pegged both his partners d1. he then refuses to acknowledge that he has a bad strategy.

on the basis that town lynch in blues which they do more often than not, hooker is even less likely to get lynched. finally, if town start thinking "hey hooker is in PRs", it's still safer for town to aim for a scum in blues as opposed to risking the autowin that having both PRs alive requires
