[Suggestion] Mentor/Vet kick power

One of the biggest issues that EM has are banned players registering under new IP to troll/ruin games. I think if there is a veteran player with 2500+ points they should be able to kick them out of lobby. Kick will only work if player has less than 20 games. This will prevent users from fearkicking/kicking for personal reasons.

Now obviously any misuse of a kick can result in vio's but beta testing something like that could work. When a troll registers an account its about 8-10 trolled rank games before actions are taken upon them. Could result in users stepping off EM for the day as a result.

Solutions to silent kick:

  • An account with 2500+ points
  • Red Heart Veterans (Could be a list of 5 trusted rank members per each of the main 3 timezones who is given this permission. Has no other power aside from this.)

Could easily prevent such situations from same user.

New players wouldnt be kicked randomly. The people who have permissions to do so would be 5 active veterans who are told my staff to utilize such kicks when blatant specific VIO's are happening and multiple reports are made in a small timeframe.

If you play red hearts im sure you can distinguish between casual gameplay vio's vs blatant "ABC ABC ABC ABC or multiple slurs spammed while pasting mechanics" as a good reason to kick from future games.

ok jokes aside though no user should be able to kick from red heart games. When a mod sees reports up on a banned user, this stuff is hopped on immediately with action being taken. The system isn't perfect but it doesn't carry the risk of new users being ostracized by the community so quickly.

there’s already been some stuff implemented to try and stop the banned users and so far it’s working pretty well


Pretty much this. Mods & Lobby moderators have the ability to close & refund games, and ban people from lobbies. Mods can kick players from games, and site ban them. We're available for direct contact via discord as well so we usually get on throw account quickly.

Biggest issue with your suggestion is that too many people would mistake new players with actual throw accounts, and end up abusing the ability entirely.
