A vast majority of my losses this year came from a clear grudevoting/voting against me for not wanting to let them hammer.

No one is even asking you to "conform" to a particular style of play. I'm surprised that a T-type such as yourself failed to come to the conclusion that you should switch your play-style to one which doesn't keep your winrate under 50% for years.
