Ever changing OGI rule

I am not complaining about the verdict. I don't mind.

I am complaining about the below points.

1- first of all, no infraction is ever applied based on the result. It has always been so. It does not matter if there is any influence of the action or not. I don't know where this rule changed. If a person tries to ogi and it does not work, then it is not ogi?

2- Second thing I have a problem with is how sausage reads the game. I thought he was a super smart person and I respected him a lot. But I am really sad how he has handled this.

At no point this was about me shooting him. Never. Ogi is not just about the person getting lynched or shot.

This runner pointed out his run in order to influence who I shoot.

Second thing. I don't know how sausage thinks the grs did not happen. He asked jesuskiller to grs and he did grs. I don't know what else is erb.

It doesn't even matter who starts about grs. If you tell someone to grs, it is erb even if they don't.

In this case the grs did happen after him asking.

I don't know how these two buffoon mods think that nothing was influenced.

Jesuskiller grs for runner after runner points out they are running and then they ask them to grs.

No idea what these mods are smoking.

As for the "grs please" I have left my faith regarding it with the mods, they have chosen to not vio it, I would've accepted both verdicts, it was a sentence sent through irritation caused by your inability to listen to me and do the correct thing. You are openly trying to twist the scenario as if i had my friend grs for me (a runner), when in fact we were both just equally frustrated by your awful though process and reads. Furthermore, the grs had nothing to do with my run. You are taking 2 lines with a total of less than 10 words from very different stages at the game BOTH caused by you irritating me and trying to twist an untruthful story around them, which is just sad. But just so you can sleep easier in the following weeks, I didn't trophy, so no one got unjustly "left at 4th".

I don't know how much I must've annoyed you for you to file a report, appeal the verdict and then open a thread, but okay. I am still fighting in my head if this is just a petty report where you are trying to take the actions from absurdly different times and stamp them together as a story. I will clarify in case you are still confused. I asked you to shoot person A. You said "shut up or i'll shoot you". I said "dont f*ck up my run, please", which was directed at you wanting to shoot me, NOT you refusing to shoot said person A. This is further backed up by my next line, which points out how shooting uncc'ed oracle is pointless.

I desperately want him to get a vio because people have gotten vios for much less. He said "please grs"

And just like you knew I wasnt shooting him, he knew. And being unccd orc does not make him clear either. As the real orc could be hiding. So that is moot here. If he goes on to win the trophy then it will be very unfair to 4th placed player as citadel had a loss saved by a grs he pleaded for.

Dude, you are totally twisting here. He brought up his run BECAUSE you threatened to shoot him not BECAUSE so you can shoot who he wants you to. If you hadn't threatened to shoot him, yes I would agree with you that it's OGI and he would have gotten the vio right there and then.

In the verdict I said I could have given him the ERB but I chose not to because it would be harsh and in the rules it says that it is only given to severe cases. Had he explicitly said "Hey jesus, please sui to save my run" or somewhere along the lines, BEFORE jesus even mentioned he was gonna sui, then yes I will give him the vio you so desperately want him to get.

You have zero knowledge of game context. What he said had an influence in every read he gives because he has made himself more important than others by pointing out he is running. Go and check if he mentions his run every game to get people to give more importance to his reads. You are a person who thinks like a machine. Just linear thinking.

And everybody can give opinions and reads in games. But along with that they are not allowed to say "don't ruin my run" or anything like that.

And if jesus was going to sui why did he have to say it to get confirmation from the cheater friend?

Quote to me exactly where he told you who to shoot because he was running. The only thing he mentioned about running is the fact that you were threatening to shoot him and you were gonna ruin his run by doing so.

What you are implying is that whoever is running can't give opinions on who the clear can shoot. That is simply ridiculous pranay and if you insist on that, then my respect for you is totally lost.

Never for once did Jesus asked if he can sui. He said that HE WILL SUI. Which means that he is going to sui irregardless of whoever tells him to or not to. You are trying to twist things that didn't happen in the game to make your points valid.

1- never have I ever mentioned anywhere that he pointed out his run to stop me from shooting him? Did I? Ever? In my report or comments? So why are you fixated on it?

When a runner is clear. And they say "xyz will ruin my run" . It is nothing.

But when they are clear and they say "don't ruin my run, shoot who I am telling you to shoot" . Or " don't ruin my run" ******** " shoot this guy " . He is directly using his run to make sure sheriff gives priority to his reads instead of their own.

That is ogi. If it wasn't me and some other noob sheriff, they would be influenced. I had different reads and I trust my reads more than others always.

But it does not matter if I am influenced or not. He tried to do it. That has always been ogi. 99 percent of ogi cases are where the person is unable to influence despite their efforts to influence.

agree with mandevian. here is an example where i got an OGI violation when the result was never going to be influenced. moderator told me its still OGI: https://epicmafia.com/report/251689 . I suicided when 2 players voted me which I KNOW does not veg the game, and town still won and got their points. in the appeal https://epicmafia.com/report/251692 moderator said "you were trying to sway votes" if you read the game nobody cared about what i said and both of the players left alive were bwing me.

I was never a super smart person to begin with but thanks for the praise and respect. In fact, I also think you are super smart enough to know not to shoot a clear and get an unnecessary GT vio so I believe that irregardless of him pointing out his run or not, you were never going to shoot him anyways. It would be a different matter if he had said "Hey I am running so I want you to shoot "a", "b" or "c", which is a definite OGI imo.

Also you might wanna read up the rules section on ERB, where it clearly states "it's only handed out in very severe cases." All I see from Citadell even "supporting" the GRS is two words and similar to your case above, it might not have mattered as he would have sui anyways irregardless.
