Beautiful Defeats and Ugly Victories

Welcome to the Genius.

In the our first episode, 13 contestants participated in "FOOD CHAIN", the challenge from Season 2: Episode 1.

Wolf, L, and Georgio formed a mostly successful alliance, easily sweeping much of the competition with the combination of Crocodile/Crocbird/Chameleon. However, some last-minute carelessness led to the chameleon, Georgio being eliminated by Karthik, the hyena. Here are the final results.

Winners: Axophite, Benfox2, Clockwise, Izz, Karthik, L, Wolf

Losers: Ben Cano, CopandDoctor, Picante, Plurmorant, Georgio, Socially Akward Bee

All contestants started the game with one garnet. Each winner received an additional garnet.

For the death match, Georgio was nominated, mostly in part to his abrasive personality. In response, Georgio chose to play against CopandDoctor. The death match challenge was "WINNING STREAK GAME" from Season 1: episode 1. With a final score of 4:3, CopandDoctor won, and Georgio was eliminated from the Genius.

Additionally, L has decided to drop out, leaving his garnets with Wolf.

Fun Facts:

*Picante claimed himself to be the MVP, despite losing.

*There was a behind-the-scenes garnet deal regarding the results of the deathmatch.

*There was an alliance, and a "real" version of that alliance, featuring one less person.
