GT Reports are backwards

Both these games (and probably many others) went like this:

1) There are three sides, the smart villager, the stupid villager, and the mafia.

2) Village team has autowin.

3) Stupid villager does not realize this and votes against smart villager.

4) Rather than explaining himself, smart villager repeatedly tells stupid villager to KYS, f*** you, etc. etc.

5) Stupid villager is mad AF. Mafia tells stupid villager to lynch into autoloss, providing good arguments (albeit completely flawed since it's proven incorrect). Stupid villager quickly does that, hoping to end the flaming ASAP, and get an obvious win since maf gives arguments while smart villager does not.

6) Smart villager reports stupid villager. Stupid villager is banned. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. Stupid villager was just stupid, not attempting to do any reportable action whatsoever. Smart villager both gamethrew by flaming AND performed the most vicious and pointless flaming possible. Mafia team knowingly encouraged stupid villager to gamethrow. EVERYONE WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPORTED WAS NOT, AND THE ONE PERSON WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REPORTED WAS REPORTED.

Discuss. And please just decrease the GT rules if you don't change the criteria, it's silly to get banned for minor oversights, I really would be ok if no one got banned in those games. And don't ban me plz, just delete my post if it's somehow against the rules. I will probably not respond to this post, it's too depressing.

the mafia definitely didn't throw since they were playing to their win condition, if that's how it worked then everyone would act like smart villager and therefore be unable to be voted due to potentially being reported for gt

First game the idiot threw. He lynched his guilty , when it was confirmed third setup. Also he kept calling him Jew.

Second game someone litteraly suicided.


I don't understand what this test was about? Maybe testing if someone actually reads the reports to see you are talking complete BS?

Im gonna make 3 guesses without reading anything.

1- stupid villager is you or your alt.

2- smart villager is a runner you were throwing against

3- stupid villager is actually smarter than the smart village and just acts like a retrd. Stupid villager knows how to feign ignorance and also knows how to make threads.

4- the mod was smarter and knew what stupid villager was up to

Conclusion - stupid villager tried to act smart but ended up getting fukd coz the smart villager had a mod friend.

Can you link the report? I'm curious. But remember, gamethrow requires intent, not just observable stupidity.

I don't think maf would get reported here for encouraging gt (cause that's playing to their wincon, encouraging rulebreakage would be if he told villager to leave game). And I do see that the person banned shouldn't have been, so you should file the appeal.

In one of those games there is a suicide like 3 seconds into d1 and village wins the resulting unranked. And anyways, the critera for GT is "Intentionally playing against your win condition or not playing to win." If you think this criteria wasn't fufilled, file an appeal, don't about it on the forums
