My friend was robbed, what do I do?

I, Walrus, am in need of some advice.

My friend was robbed by 2 police officers and put through a huge ordeal. It only ended when the chief of police stepped in and gave him his money back, stating that they police officers were wrong and that they would be punished. Yet my friend still sees these police officers driving around doing whatever they want; in fact, not only is he unsure that they were actually punished, but he overheard the officers insisting that what they did to my friend was "fair" and "just".

How should I respond to this? What should I tell my friend to make him feel better? How can I tell him to trust the police when even I am unsure whether they can adequately protect us?

that wouldn't have been me. wasting a single more breath than necessary on a manbaby who attempts and fails to use logical constructs to derail your argument, and then goes around the site bragging about how "i tried" as if he won an international debate competition against me, is not something that you should ever imagine me doing. and even if you entertain the notion that he objectively neutered my argument (which i believe he did not) going about it in the condescending and belittling way that he did afterward shows you what kind of agenda this guy has behind his little attention-seeking gimmick

Find the police officers and pull them into an ally, then use the baton's you bought from the local weapon shop and just beat the living out of them. Tell them its justice for the city and if they don't leave the police force you will hunt them down and put a bullet in them both. Also wear a cool hoodie and tell the officers that u will deal justice to all those who wrong the city. There, a guide to becoming a vigilante, that's what u wanted right.

You're entire argument is a generalisation of an extreme minority of police officers.

An akin statement to yours would be "I am laughting how cody protects black people, when they beat people up, kill people and get away with it because they live in the "hood".
