Setup 1320675#

Villager, Cop, Mortician, Telepath, Agent, Templar, Villager

N1: Maf claims to each other and figures out what setup it is. They then decide to claim the missing roles if necessary. Let's say the mafia is Godfather and Strongman. That setup is missing a villager and a Templar, so Godfather claims Villager, if necessary, and Strongman Claims Templar, if necessary.

D1. Based upon who died, the town looks through the setups and figures out what steps have both their role and the role of who died. Someone will have a confirmed guilty and a confirmed clear from their point of view. For example, Let's say an agent dies. That means whoever is the mortician will know that one of the villagers is fake, and also that the Telepath is clear, because the setups with Agent and Mortician all have a Telepath, and none of them have 2 villagers. This is the same knowledge an Agent would know if a mortician has died. Likewise, The Godfather knows that the Mortician has him figured out, and will therefore try to either discredit any claims by the mortician by saying he is fake, or try to pin it on the villager. Whoever has a read can claim, or do whatever they think necessary to make their scum look like scum. You could even Massclaim if you want to, But you may not want to as mafia will kill blues, in which the first blue death doesn't narrow the setup. Bear in mind that if you claim, and ask a suspicious person of their role who would be confirmed, such as a mortician with dead agent asking the godfather about their role, that they can merely claim the other, non-confirmed missing role. In our example case of strongman, godfather, there is no templar either. So let's say the Mortician asks a suspicious player about their role, and the person they ask just so happens to be the godfather. If they claim blue, they will be pretty much confirmed in the mortician's eyes so they may claim templar to alleviate some suspicion. The amount of accruable wifom in this setup is ENOURMOUS. In any case you should probably NL D1.

N2: Mafia tries to figure out who is a villager, so that they can kill them and keep the setup ambiguous. Villagers can be read because they are the only role that will NEVER get confirms from the first death. Villagers always know less about which setup it is, and ignorance is sometimes a difficult read to make. If you don't kill a blue, be wary. In our example of Setup 6, which is Strongman&Godfather, with already having a dead Agent, let's see what the various results could be. The death options now are Blue, Cop, Mortician, and Telepath. If blue dies, nothing changes except that Now the Mortician knows which villager is the godfather. If cop dies, There is a double CC, because the only setups it can be are 3 & 6. In those setups it is either 1 Fake blue and 1 Fake Templar, OR 1 Fake Whisperer and 1 Fake Mortician. SO the remaining town becomes clear, and that's basically the win or lose day of the game, because you either lynch 1 maf, and the other is confirmed, or you Lynch town, and you lose. If Mortician Dies, the Godfather is confirmed, but still people don't know which Villager is the fake Villager, so there is a CC between Villagers, and town must pick one. The next day there would be a CC between Templar and Cop because those are the only partners of a Mafia Godfather. If Telepath Dies, There's a 66% chance that godfather is confirmed, But town must make a choice, because Mortician was pushing on GF, and it could actually be Setup 2 with Fake Mortician and Fake cop, a.k.a. Forger and Nilla. Maf needs to think about all of this, along with who scum read and town read who, so that they can figure out which situation it would be easiest to get town to believe that at least one of them is not mafia.

D2: If you haven't claimed yet, YOU BETTER DO IT NOW. You have to lynch maf today, so Go with your gut and logic, and scum hunt your posterior clean off! You really should have been doing that the whole time, but you REALLY better have reads by the end of today. There are occasions in which there is 5-way no clear, such as dead agent and dead telepath. In these situations, Scumhunt EVEN HARDER. ABUSE WIFOM ATE AND ALL MAFIA TOOLS AT YUR DISPOSAL TO MANIPULATE THE RETARDED TOWN TO YOUR ULTIMATE GOAL! Whether you are town or maf, your ability to convince town of anything will be put to the test here, and will win or lose you the game.

N3: Kill whoever doesn't confirm you as mafia. (i.e. if you are strongman and godfather is dead, DON'T KILL THE COP!)

D3: This is guaranteed 1 clear at least. If you are clear, reread d1 and d2, and figure out what those still alive were trying to do, and lynch based on that. For the unclears, you better have been good d1 and 2.

tl;dr

it isn't a bad setup although in my opinion it is maf sided.. very maf sided.
about 5 years
tldr maf tries to find blue to blend in and town will be in 5way lylo with 1 clear

there are no prs but its not a reason to panick and theres some scumhunting involved. Not heavily reliant on mechanics though.
