Why make town suffer with a gallis?

it doesnt make town suffer, if gallis is in play, then gallis ends up not dying if mistaken for autocrat.

Gallis suicides with only 1 vote on him

then mafia or autocrat are obvious

and even then its 50% chance of being gallis

It still adds a random element (50/50) that can go against town. Especially in lylo situations.

i dont think thats so bad though....what do you suggest to improve the set up.

I don't think the gallis is too bad, if tracker finds a non-visiting role and decides to lynch it (in the gallis setup I mean) it can only be gallis or autocrat. If everybody bandwagons that person and he dies, autocrat is gone, otherwise, town has a clear on next day (gallis) when tracker is killed (if bg / doc / surgeon is not alive and can't save him). On the other side, this is balanced with the risk of gallis being popped by mafia (autocrat has no reason for doing so), but popping is like a blitz, town can find mafia with that... I think I like this setup.
