It’s pretty blatant cheating. This makes it unfair to the people who randomly join the game, dedicating their time and effort when they realistically have no chance of winning. 2/2
We wanted to take a second to explain this verdict as we thought that would be of benefit to the whole community. Cheating in any game is not okay, and not something that we condone at all. We definitely support people who want to play with their friends, but by opening a game and making it available to the whole community it should mean that the game is fair and just and abides by all of the lobby rules. Ultimately, had Bryce told people prior to the game that he would be hosting in that manner, we might have reconsidered given everyone would have been aware of the situation. However the other players didn’t know, and therefore were put in an unfair situation. Giving answers to someone in a game is not fair, regardless of whether they are your friends or not. Using those answers to better yourself in a game is also not fair. 1/2
I am representing Bryce and Tillie as their lawyer so they won't be answering questions. If you have any questions you can ask me.
Bryce believed that TWL meant Tillie Wins Legame, therefore, since the rules of Tillie Wins Legame state "the host must make sure Tillie wins", cheating is not an applicable offense, and frankly, this offense is absolutely insulting to my clients. They are people of the most upstanding character and would never cheat. There is no grounds for this accusation and it should be rescinded immediately. Thank you.
