"no one told him to stop so it clearly wasn't very disruptive" dude if everyone in the game hardcore spammed but no one told each other to stop, that doesnt mean it wasnt disruptive or that no one spammed.
and yea ik that wasnt the case here but im just giving an example of a situation as to how your reasoning is bad
No, you do it to troll - I notice you're reporting someone else for grudging yet you get a obsession if your head (based on a grudge) then tunnel them by spamming their name throughout the game.
i never covered up more than half the screen. i repeat different lines in intervals and i do it to add emphasis and get my point across WHEREAS the user im talking abt did it in an unnecessary manner out of blatant grudge. so it's entirely different and if u think i spammed then report me
well if doing both saying the same thing 17 times + covering up more than half the screen at one point isn't considered excessive in a competitive game then what is?? and y does it not say anything abt it having to be excessive in ranked in the rules?
i just don't think the precedent was made in order for mods to not be able to make a judgment call on what they deem to be excessive or not enough to warrant a violation
saying the same long message 5 or 6 times covers half the screen just like saying one line 9 or 10 times. the point is they both take up half the screen
idk what the point is that youre trying to make. r u saying its not ok to say a long message 5 times but its ok to say a one-line sentence double the times????
id wager that the reason it was considered spam to cover half the screen is because then you could spam a long message to cover the screen but do it a few times
That precedent of covering more than half the screen being a spamming vio was set so that corrupt mods like you wouldn't decide spamming verdicts based on what you think is considered "excessive" (subjective)
repeating the same thing 17 times is excessive and unnecessary.
(1) https://epicmafia.com/post/1841338/goto_page There is a precedent that states if the repeated message covers more than half the screen then it's a spamming vio. This occurred in this case
(2) https://epicmafia.com/lobby/rules under Spamming - "Repeatedly sending the same message". Where the fk does it say it has to be excessive in a competitive game to warrant a vio? It only says that for unranked main lobby games.
(3) Where the fk does it say you have to be told to stop for it to be a vio? Being told to stop is for the harassment vio.

it's not excessive enough to warrant a violation IMO. Also no one told the kid to stop spamming (if they did I missed it.)
