Mafia doesn't have to kill into autoloss. There was no kill outside of Miles that wouldn't have confirmed him as mafia. If there had been and he had forced the meteor then yes it would have been GT

No vio town needs to grow balls and lynch and not wait for game to be handed to them

By implementing meteor, they handicapped mafia in a situation where it's first to breaks eye contact loses. Giving them an out on autoloss meteor was the only fair compensation... even if it the result of poor-matt play that lead him in to a deserved loss.

they are however, allowed to force a draw by not killing and if town doeesn't want to lynch they can accept the draw.
