Vote to OT to note or no vio. Katie, I see what you're saying about the literal interpretation of the rule, but since it was at the beginning of d1 and she stopped when asked to, I think this clearly isn't excessive or disrupting gameplay.
if it helps, i didn't see the persons complaint until after i sent the 2 after he complained and as soon as i saw it i stopped, but i do understand where you're coming from
i really think that the wording of certain violations should be altered because they shouldn't be this subjective ^_~

Yeah don't worry, I understand. I know that at least one person was visibly upset with the spam, but I don't think it was serious enough to warrant the violation.
i definitely see what everyone here is saying and i totally understand your viewpoint but i gave a spamming violation here because the rules which i moderate to say "repeatedly sending the same message" and although this is a vague description and i rarely award violations for spamming anyway i gave one here because there's hard evidence (text in chat) which shows that it disrupted the game and/or irritated at least one other player enough that they had to tell anna and silhouette to stop twice, and i hope you can at least somewhat appreciate where i'm coming from also

Also please Katie what else would you expect from me in terms of appeals? I've dealt with horrid language and insults all because of a violation too ya know ;)

stays in place. It wasn't that heavy of an infraction, if any at all. Thanks for talking this out at least. It reassures me that you didn't just assume you were correct right away. Also, I do not suck!!!!!!!!!

Actually we all joined that game before Wolfblitzer, who was one of the last to join, and we all had no idea he was even going to join. I think you're completely right when you say that trolling was not a possibility, but you're also totally wrong if you believe that this could have even been considered trolling at all. None of us (Silhouette, Anna, or myself) directly stated to each other that we wanted to play in the same game; we all just made janitorial 2.0 games and we all ended up just following each other under purely coincidental circumstances. None of the cases of spamming from any of us were disrupting the game play. Anna's "spam" was only a few lines at the start of day one before play even happened. The same is for Silhouette's "spam." Mine was as I was to be auto lynched; as you can see the day did not last very long. I hope you can at least see what I mean, because I still think this violation is really wrong, and that the rest of us deserve the violation too if this
Gonna stop, I've made my point. This is a POSSIBLE note for trolling/harassment (I'd really disagree) but a spamming vio is just absolutely ridiculous here.
p.s thank you for making this a respectful appeal and not just being really blasphemous. also nick i think you'll find she actually said it 7 times at the start of d1 and you suck.
i figured that you (rutab), anna and silhouette had some kind of contact during or before the game (i'm not accusing anybody of cheating here and i hope this isn't implied) but it just seemed kind of weird to me how Silhouette randomly started spamming something that you said and you then joined in. i don't think it matters whether or not this is accurate information though because ultimately it was your intention to spam at the beginning of the game and you knew what you were doing. another thing was that it did disrupt gameplay for the other players as one of them told you to stop yet you repeated the line twice afterwards anyway and then again towards the end of the first day. honestly looking at the way you played (fake claiming, antagonizing njnj primarily but also irritating other players, 90% of your chat being completely off topic etc) i feel like it could also have fallen under trolling but i didn't feel like those aspects were quite strong enough to warrant a violation
....premeditated spamming? Elaborate because that sounds silly. It wasn't severe ebough for a violation imo especially since she said she was stopping after 6 meesly messages.
im sorry katie, i respect your opinion and if i said it throughout the entire day and disrupted game play, sure i totally would deserve a vio... but i didn't
i didn't lead the kill on him so how would i have planned that out? i saw he was dead and went on to say the same thing i said during the pregame, i don't think this is a fair vio at all, he literally reported me in spite because i got offended by what he was saying to me.
the rule doesn't state the amount of times a phrase has to be said for it to be given a violation only 'repeatedly sending the same message' which is what anna did. also i'm assuming it was premedidated
