Maybe I'm dumb but a lot of that sounded very convincing and not-made-up to me

What went on with the voting examiners being kept too far away to observe the envelope opening? Did that really happen? Do mail in ballots really work that way, where the only time they are proved to be connected to a real person is the moment the outer envelope is opened?

What's this business of 100k votes coming in *all* for Biden at once. Is that being misrepresented somehow? Was it not really 100k all for Biden and the legal team is just saying that?

i've heard the "100k votes for biden at once" claim a lot, and it seems to stem from this clerical error that got corrected right away:

it's tough to refute a press conference like that because giuliani is basically just throwing out misleading/misframed information over and over but there is zero weight to what he's claiming. the committee appointed by trump that was explicitly designed to search for things that would illegitimatize the election concluded that this election was the most secure election in history (https://www.cisa.gov/news/2020/11/12/joint-statement-elections-infrastructure-government-coordinating-council-election)

I see.. well if indeed they are referring to a clerical error corrected within 10 mins and trying to frame that as evidence of fraud, then that is very misleading.
Absentee and mail ballots are almost always counted last and they usually lean dem in any election, not just this one. Since Biden encouraged his voters to vote by mail it makes sense that they would heavily swing dem while people voting in person swung more rep because Trump told his voters mail in ballots are fraudulent. So yeah, trump had a good lead at first with in person polling but once they got to all the mail ballots, of which there were a ton for obvious reasons, Biden would pull a victory from behind

It's not even about finding mysterious missing ballots or whatever, it's just poll workers and election commissions doing their job and getting the votes in one at a time. And naturally the biggest cities will take the longest to count, so most of the last votes counted will lean dem because the cities are the ones left. This is why AP calls races before all the votes are in because if you have a certain number of ballots left to come in and you have a good prediction of their leaning, you can do the math on how likely one candidate or the other will win a state

This stuff happens in every single election, including in 2016. It's just that the huge influx of mail ballots made things slower to process and trump spreading misinformation about the election

I went through about the first 10% of these affidavits

sounds like the whole 'republicans were kept too far to observe the votes' was just standard covid 6ft stuff lol
