maid is a bad role because you guys don't let the people who get it fulfill the unique perk it has: outing the entirety if maf team if you know them.
as i said before on wall, playing hot potato with maid just makes games boring aswell, like choosing to party d1 and complaining party host is a bad role because its discount celebrity.
i think you guys would hate prophet too if every single person who got them said "sui race" for the hilarious prophet d1 win

i mean.... how exactly is that better? the only time thats a good idea is if a maf gets maided, then maids town, and in that case most maids ive seen DO out the mafia team bc they have no reason not to. but thats incredibly broken and gives the maf basically no fighting chance to defend themselves, nor does it give town the opportunity to scumhunt and get reports and stuff
its just a completely unfun mechanic that maid can just find out who is on the maf team and screw them over completely without even getting any benefit from it. itd be one thing if maid could win from doing that, but she doesnt - its just something she can do to be annoying for the sake of it. how exactly is that a good mechanic?

it gives leverage to direct mafia and make them kill the person you're gonna maid, put it on your will and you can go with the flow of town if you don't like the idea of betraying mafia right after (or you could be doomed if maf has 2 kills per night even if you out it). or scumhunt by yourself and hit the original maid the night that maf wins.
you can make maid fun, at least more than roles that are 90% of the time bugged like admirer.
