🅱️razy opinion thread147
i know you fools. i know you disgusting sniveling wretches like i know the back of my hand. i can feel your grubby little paws itching to create and spam comments on " Opinion Threads™️ ".
well i am here to tell you NO. i am here to provide an outlet for your sick desires. i am here to help you all sublimate your primal cravings for others' attention. if you do not know what the word " sublimate " means, this is just further proof that you are spending too much time reading the thoughts of socially-starved, MOBA-obsessed gremlins, instead of reading Books. Classics such as " The Lightning Thief " or any Book from the critically acclaimed series Redwall.
To return to the point at hand, I am making an unprecedented kind of opinion thread. you may ask me for my opinion on anything EXCEPT yourself. That's Right. direct your curiosity towards pursuits other than that of idle Vanity. in fact. you cannot ask me for my opinion on ANYONE directly connected to ebic amfia. non-compliance will be met with swift and exacting punishment.
ask away (-:

i enjoy pepperjack greatly, and i am on the whole fine with mozzarella, particularly that of the bufala variant. ricotta gets a pass due to its contributions to lasagna, and kraft shredded cheese is the backbone of american society. i've never really considered mascarpone to be a cheese, but it is also a wonderful wonderful delight. i respect if not like brie and gruyere.
i feel apathy or veiled disgust towards most other cheeses, but asiago bread ruined me when i was a child who expected to find normal bread in my pantry for my sandwich, and blue cheese upsets my aesthetic sensibilities so much i would wipe it off the face of the earth if i could.

some cooking youtube channels are very obviously corporate organized and run and its so icky how like artificial they feel, but a lot are really cute and nice! whoever is rresponsible for those kitchen hack videos that give instructions like "microwave for 9 minutes" must rot in hell. also those restaurants making like $500 gold burgers. the aesthetics of luxury and capitalism have my people in shackles.
i like looking at food in general though and i want to cook more, i started learning while i was at home in quarantine and once i leave campus i'm going to try baking too! i recommend everyone watch @newt on tiktok/@milktpapi on twitter for anyone over the age of 20 because his cooking and baking videos always make me laugh :D

i like spicy food a lot, and i generally get (or got, really) spicy food when eating in at a restaurant, but regular level spice for take out. my mom likes eating the little habanero peppers with her rice, which i do not do because i think that is weird af, but i do like jalapeños and jalapeño-related foods a lot

AT THE SAME TIME 1) blue guy and pink girl make my brain and heart go brrr 2) i think this adaptation does a really good job of humanizing hades and making him incredibly sympathetic, which he does not get in ancient mythology itself 3) persephone herself is such a fantastic character who i relate a lot to in terms of incredibly high expectations being thrust upon them (and being into older m-) 4) this is also something i am researching on but i think a major part of the issue with age gaps (and a lot of issues involving the human condition in general) stem from the fundamental problem of mortality, so it's less squicky for me since they're both immortal

also the memes from kingdom hearts are godly.

how do you feel about cheese?
what cheeses do you like?
what cheeses do you think should stop being produced?
soft-ripened cheese are my favorite. there's one available at a lot of grocery stores called fromage d'affinois and it tastes like velvety butter - that's usually the 'gateway' soft cheese i offer people who think brie is too funky. personally i love a stinky soft cheese with a washed rind,.. i also love gouda (made with cow/sheep/goat milk it doesn't matter it's all excellent), and spanish cheeses like mahon and manchego, though they can be kinda boring if they aren't aged long enough so i require membrillo or jam.
there are few cheeses i truly hate but emmentaler is revolting. use gruyere for 's sake! also certain blue cheeses are too metallic. they taste like blood.
