Why was my post deleted14
Please explain why was my post deleted?
It was a post about the discussion of whether mental illness is real or socially construct. This kind of discussion is very normal is it's everywhere around forums so I really fail to see how this post is a piece of "toxic garbage" hence needs to be removed.
Please enlighten me as to how this is a "toxic garbage" so I can speak accordingly in the future on this site and making sure I don't produce any toxic garbage from my mouth ever again:)
The post didn't violate any of your site rule, I made sure it didn't happen - the content was neutral and peaceful. I didn't attack anyone or any ideas. So please tell me why it was deleted:)
That is sounds so much more mature and decent than "toxic garbage" :) Ty for your feedback!
there are several studies proving mental illness exists and has significant impact on your body and overall brain function.
a lot of mental illness has to do with diet, hormone imbalance, cellular or molecular changes, physical or emotional trauma, underlying health conditions, genetics, and environmental factors. there are SO many reasons a person can be mentally ill. "because they want to be" is not one of them.
physical and mental health have a positive correlation. when one is damaged, the other follows. they are one in the same and should be treated as such. some mental disorders have serious physical side effects, like panic disorder. you can't fake a blood pressure of 160/90. you cant fake internal tremors or a heart rate of 170. they are real biological responses.
neurological and psychological disorders are tightly interwoven. when someone has a traumatic brain injury, they are VERY likely to have a mental disorder. not from emotional trauma but from actual damage to the brain.
not all disabilities are visible. that does not make them fabricated.
Please run yourself a Google search on the socially constructed side and perspective of mental illness and you will see a tons of paper that explores this topic.
I am SO SORRY that this post is so undignified to you:) :) :) And I apologies on behalf of any education institute or people that had ran a research on this!!! :) have a great day :) :)
I almost thought this is a mod posting and I'm glad it's not :)
1 Please run yourself a Google search on the socially constructed side and perspective of mental illness and you will see a tons of paper that explores this topic and why it is worthy of discussion. And 2 why it is not gaslighting.
Sorry for my cp cuz your point is 100% same with user wink:)
Fine if there needs to be an agreement that mental illness is real here and here only and specifically. No problem:)
screen shot those juicy counter-arguments if there are any. >_>
