okay so you're probably thinking 'wow david was psychic? okay but why was he so scummy in the beginning of the game? why did he out fake reads and put scum on the mission?
well im glad you asked! lets talk about it.
99% of what you're about to read was planned in advance.
THE MISSION
my strategy in the beginning of the game was to act scummy on purpose, to bait matt and patryk into scumclaiming. mouth said i hardclaimed scum in the beginning which is true because i basically did. from the start i knew i would have to pull an 'unorthodox' strat if i wanted to minimize the chance i get found as psychic. so first, i wanted to make it seem like i was buddied with matt and patryk by putting them on the same mission and proposing it quickly. i figured this would freak them out since they're both maf and they didnt have time to prepare for a prisoner's dilemma situation. and it worked lol. i can elaborate on this but the post might get too long. if anyone wants to hear the REALLY long explanation you can just message me or something. got good reactions out of them, and other people noticed too. basically i knew i couldnt act like i had amazing reads from the start so i had to make it look like there's a 'logical progression' of me fosing maf. i also had to try and make it impossible to think that im psychic. what kind of psychic puts 2 scum on a mission for mission 1? spadez brought this up and that was part of the plan lol.
mindful approved the mission which was a scumclaim. matt and patryk reacted quickly, which i could use as a justification to fos them. this was really all i needed, since if my reads were too good then it would be suspicious. i didnt worry about honey at this point.

THE READS
so the reads were fake this part is correct, but i didnt reveal why i outed those specific reads. if you look closely, i said i TR spies for the most part, and i said that i scumread clear town. i basically outed reads that only maf would agree with, then i could use their reaction as a justification to fos them later. my reasoning was as follows:
1. maf can either claim to agree or disagree with my reads
2. if they agree, they are scumclaiming
3. if they disagree, they're scumhunting for me
so i was able to get some valuable reactions from the 'fake reads' which i talked about earlier.
OKAY, BUT DID YOU RS WITH SPF?
this was one thing i didn't really plan on doing but it worked out better than i expected. when patryk claimed, i knew that me also claiming would serve a few purposes. 1. it should throw off spies from thinking i'm psychic 2. people should TR me for double ccing 3. the real LOTL should look far townier in comparison to me and pat. i figured there's a chance people might think i'm rolswapping, which should make it very hard to figure out that i'm psychic, especially when considering everything i'd done up to that point. if spies do think a role swap took place, they're more likely to guess spf as psychic.
now, when we were talking about who spf should check, i did ask to be checked. but when it was decided that she was checking honey, i wanted to make sure she was doing that, because i knew honey was scum. i said i thought her mission would pass, which was a lie, but it didnt matter because i knew she would get checked. after that mission we confirmed pat and honey as scum. from here, the entire scum team was basically outed.

once i knew that town had the correct reads i basically stopped posting. i figured the groundwork had already been laid out, the whole spy team already scumclaimed, so my work was done. i'm not taking all the credit of course but i'm just saying i did everything i could. i didnt want to risk giving myself away, so i stepped back from the game. especially during the final phase where matt was guessing, i figured spies would confuse themselves into guessing someone else as psychic, so i didnt say anything at all during this part.
i also wanted to make sure my reads didnt seem 'too good' so i included false positives like saying i fos dk, or saying that honey's mission would pass.
