ABC... What now?

So most ppl will think abc is just a joke ( in a positive way ) But it's really a problem. Banned users are just joining ranked games and ruin everything for other players ( making accounts to force meteor on town, ... ) This needs to change because it's a really big problem that doesn't get talked about. If real new players join they could get confused by this situation... ( just imagine it ). Is there nothing we can do against it?

Is the noavi a new player that wants to play a new game or is it a banned user cheating and ruining the game? Are we allowed to kick those players?

Discuss, because of now mods ( if they are even online ) bans the player after the player is reported and then the banned user can still ruin multiple games.

up the number of unranked games you need to play before you can do ranked, even if it doesn't stop them it will happen less since they need to waste more time

the easiest way to prevent banned users from ruining games is by unbanning them. cant have a banned user problem if there are no banned users.

It's an idea I think is pretty decent and shouldn't have much drawbacks, we can always try it out and look.

It does take 20-25 min for abc to get a ranked account, but if we could make that time long liker 50 minutes, we profit from it, mods will have less work, noavies will practice more before playing ( at least that's what I hope ).

Either way nice that ppl discuss it a bit since it gets left out in the dark and some ppl ( including me ) get a bit irritated when things like that happen.

I actually agree with your initial post, and think something needs to be done soon for the sake of the users and moderators.

Sorry I've had a big presentation yesterday for a lot of teachers, parents, classmates and other classmen. Had a really though month since my whole school year pretty much depended on it.

The issue with a lot of these ideas may push away new users which halts community growth

Raising the bar to ranked means people playing even more sandbox games which helps learn role mechanics but less so of actual mafia you'd see in Main. Kicking from Main is also anti-new users, it will be used more for that than it would for stopping banned users. They can go usually 2-5 games before getting site banned by a mod(depending on the time of day), so this kicking tool will definitely be used more-so to kick newer players. Whatever conditions you try to add to that won't fix that issue.

the only actual way to stop it is to use two factor authentication, but it would never be implemented because this site barely makes profits to afford that
