Why is it hate chat to say something is r*t*rded?

Are there actually r*t*rded people playing EM and getting offended?

I understand the ban on people using racial slurs or homephobic slurs because this website is full of racist crackers and gay people but it kind of concerns me that there's more likely than not a good number of r*t*rded people in gold heart / red heart games
