If you are playing a comp game, and people are having long drawn out conversations not related to the game such as in depth conversations of politices, sex, gender, brains, science. idgaf what. Can that please be reportable?

Its really annoying that every time I play a comp game, 2-3 people instead of playing the game they do this. I end up suiciding, then I get reported, then I get suspended. Why should I be stuck in a game thats so damn long for no reason because people join a game just to have a converstaion and not even participate. Is it that difficult for them to have this conversation pregame, in mail, in lobby chat??? Why do they wait until the game actually starts to do this?

Make it reportable for in depth dicussion that are not game related prolonging the day/game for no reason.

Sufficient participation does not include: Using gimmicks to speak - talking about non-game related things

For Whales report it was ruled ISP for this particular reason

one of the users who discussed that was me, so no, Possess.

But hardly ISP, we still participated in the game, and if memory serves right, town did end up winning the game.

Out of games topics are indeed reportable though, and if my memory serves me right, in the game you're referring to in this thread the user was indeed vio'd for ISP

If it's all they're been talking about the entire game, it's ISP. If they're still participating in the game in the midst of the conversation or around it, it's fine.

You didn't post a report that go not vio'd where the notions in this thread would be valid. Unless the clear was the one holding the conversation and refusing the advance the game you probably don't have a point.

If it's ISP, report it for ISP. This seems reduntant, also I am guilty of talking about past games myself, so I wouldn't vote against my own :)

The rules would be hard to enforce, very subjective.
Also I'm pro-freespeech.
