Corrupt moderator blacksnakemoan has sent me and shounen a private message telling us not to play games with each other anymore, signing it with “your friendly mod team x”.
Besides the obvious passive aggressiveness dripping from that signature, the sanctions laid upon me and shounen are unjust and peak definition of this place being a toxic environment. It shows that even something like playing a round together with a specific person can result in suspension. It’s discriminatory and hurtful. Yes, we’ve played every round this comp together. No, we did NOT cheat. You can play a game with the same people and not cheat, you know. It’s called having friends. Not to forget, we were on opposite teams a lot of the time, and I’m not even in the top 28 anymore. Why are we being accused of something like this? We did nothing wrong.

in conCLUSION if u are going to violate people for using the F WORD you shouldnt hold back on delivering said violation just because they belong to LGBT population. i doubt even a blak guy could get away with a hard R on here, why make a dubble standard... its bad for social causes
1) normalizes usage of the word which in turn normalizes homophobia 2) gets people irate that they cannot use word x while others can, leading to resentment of LGBT population as a whole on a subconscious level
gay people shouldn't use the F word under any circumstances it undermines the culture, you dont see black people running around using the hard R to "take it back"

I agree that it is silly to vio someone who has been a victim of that slur but that's not what it's about. It's about the people who don't know who kacchan is. They don't know that he isn't being hateful in any way.
Personally, I'd no vio it but make sure he doesn't say that stuff in games where he's unaware of how some people would react it

To be fair this thread was originally a bait thread and the whole 'bsm is corrupt' thing is more of a joke between friends because he gave me, a gay guy, a vio for using a homophobic slur.
I thought I missed drama when I saw how many more pages got added to this while I was gone but you guys were actually having a civilized conversation... Wild.
also fwiw, bsm isn't corrupt. he was just doing work that the other mods probably didn't want to do, hence why it was sent by him but signed by the mod team. mans is trying every day.
