New Year's Tarot Card Readings

Hi! In the spirit of New Year's, and new beginnings, I've decided to offer up what will be the last readings with my current tarot cards before I move onto another deck. Though I've had this one for two years, and it has been wonderful, the connections that it have now are those I want to move beyond. What better time than moving into the next year for this?

However, I want it to have some small send off. Using the spread I used last New Year's for myself, I want to provide readings for some Sandbox users. Whether or not you believe in the legitimacy of tarot readings doesn't matter to me; post that you want one, and I'll provide it!

The spread I'm using is six-card, focused on you as an individual and how about the upcoming year. Linked below is a poorly made MS Paint rendering of it; if you really want me to take pictures of your reading when I do it, please specify and I'll provide you with an image of it. If you would prefer that I send you your reading privately, please specify that as well; otherwise, I'll be sharing these for people!

It's first come, first serve. If you would be interested in a more private spread that I use that carries more weight for me that I use more frequently, I will do these in private and if you are serious enough about it; shoot me a PM, and I'll arrange it for you.

Also, if you have any other tarot related questions for me here, or my experiences with this kind of thing, I'll answer them as long as they aren't too invasive! Otherwise, post away! Note, these may take a bit of time to interpret and upload, and thus I will be using game mode to manage the amount of people in the wait list, should need be.

After I get one more person, I'm probably going to lock this thread for a bit; doing readings, personally, is draining for me so I can only really do about two or three in a sitting. But I'll be doing these over the next week so that everyone gets them, and may do smaller, personal readings after that!

So, the first three. It seems like 2016 might have been a good year for you and your progress as a person, as well as the goals you set out to achieve this year. You had a plan, things you wanted, and you made sure to get them. Congratulations! The Magician only signifies this even more, as now you are someone who is in control of their own current fate, and you have the power to influence your life as you wish, with the authority to do so despite what others believe.

The Devil, though, suggests that the future might offer some restraint to this; whether it means in your abilities, or in being metaphorically bound to seeking more lavish, material goals, it's something to keep in mind as you progress.

As for the last three cards: the Four of Swords seems to say that you don't have the time now to rest, and to lay back and let things go by. You need to take initiative, and make sure you're going with all you got throughout this year! The Seven of Wands suggests that, in the near future, you should challenge yourself and escape your comfort zones and boundaries, and strive to accomplish things you think difficult or near-enough impossible.

The Five of Wands complements this as well, with the possibility of competition and changes in your life being a thing that you should look forward to! Don't let yourself stagnate, and things should end up going well for you this year; just be careful in not getting caught up in sloth and laziness when you can.

The Seven of Swords, too, is a warning. Is there any drama in your life right now, or something that you don't want to be associated with? If so, it would be better for you to distance yourself from these things sooner, rather than later. However, on the other hand! If you feel as though distancing yourself from things emotionally as a whole will go well, as well as isolation, now is the time to decide that that is what you want.

Ultimately, the King of Pentacles suggests that you should aspire to be someone that others can trust and come to reliably for help this year. As you've reached relative emotional balance as of now, you're not quite at the point where that's shown to other people; you have to make yourself known for good advice and someone that people can count on, as that is what will make this year successful, personally, for you.

So, reading your first three cards: it seems that this year was a year of growth for you, particularly in emotional fields. Perhaps at some point, you set off to grow as a person and escape the immaturity you previously felt you had. The Three of Pentacles signifies this personal goal of growth, and congratulations! The King of Cups suggests that you've become a more mature person in nature, able to control yourself better compared to the beginning of the year. However, the Eight of Swords might be seen as a warning for you in this department; this emotional maturity, and willingness to behave in what you believe to be a proper way socially may cause you to isolate yourself from others and become emotionally detached in the upcoming year, so try to be aware of that!

As for the last three cards: having the Ten of Pentacles here is...a bit worrisome to me? It suggests that what you should leave behind is a successful foundation and relative wealth for something more fleeting and in the "now." I feel as though this goes alongside your first free, warning you to stay away from self-restraint; short-term chances may be more successful for you this year rather than what you see to be the more stable, long-term goal.
