as someone who likes writing i would like to stress the value of writing structure. you can describe an epic battle between two large and complex forces, but if you just list off the parts then it reads like a history book instead of an immersive fantasy world. with misspelled common words, it's even more difficult to get immersed in the story because each typo pulls the reader out of the fantasy to correct it rather than the words flowing seamlessly.

This is based off a story i am writting. It is based in a kingdom called Ilca. There are two rulers; Avalon and Gwidon. They are sworn enemys.This kingdom is in the medeival time period. There are some people in this kingdom that are speacile. They can control the elements, each with an indavidiual elemental power. They are called Elelmentals. In Rag forest, hidden from Gwidon, who, even though he is one himself, he wants to eliminate all of the Elemenlas because he thinks they are too powerful. Thats why some Elementals are hidding in Elementum. There their leader, Roald, the immortal Elemental, teaches the kids how to fight and use their powers. Elementals who come from Elementum then become assasins or other things. They work for the person that gives them the most benefit, never telling them that they are elementals. But Gwidon is starting a war. He wants the whole of Ilcor to himself. He has White warriors, his soilders, out hunting for well built men to fight in his army and if the White Warriers were to find any Elementals they are to either capture and imprison them or kill them. Who will win? Gwidon or Avalon? (less)

its story plot lines i came up with in the past around 2012 (i was about 14) till 2014.
in the roleplay world you take a pplotline make characters for it and put them in scenarios presented by the plot line

THE DAWN
The Dawn rules all. but she can't be everywhere at all time!!! so The Dawn has people aka generals that rule under The Dawn in the form of ruleing over courts. courts are like different types of kingdoms and the generals are the lords. and The Dawn is the Queen/King. Each court has a different principals, for example: Phoenix; Loyalty and Honour, Dragon; Courage and Strength, etc.
Then there are tribes;
Tribes are made up of a certain group of people with certain powers. so there can be a Fire tribe, a lightning tribe, a mind control tribe, etc. these are made up of outcasts and runaways.

Then there are clans. Clans are the Nobles. The riches, greatest and purest of each court. These arethe supporting familys of the court. They fund projects, run tea partys, etc.Not all are snobs but all are rich. (if you rp well, invite enough people, come up with a decent plot you will be rewarded with a noble character (aka the privilige to make a priviliged) ^^. Clans are families with certain powers. These are like the tribes only the complete opposite in terms of the type of people who form the clans.

Each court has:
~ 2 principles
~ 2 colours
~ An elemental power.

The 'Royal' family, aka the lord/general's power started off as their court's element. They must represent all aspects of the court. However if they don't have the power they are still excepted as generals/lords if The Dawn Approves of them.

In this area is a shop. The shop has a medevial look to it. It is balack, dark and reeks of mystery and danger. Above the door hangs a sign in shone silver as a car's headlightss illuminated it. It read "The Shadows of Hell". As you wak in you are show the facade of the shop. On the shelves were magick related iteams, pendants that promised fortune adn wealth, gemstones that promised stability, romance, etc. there were tarot card packs in one corner, the cards painted black and white, one was black and red. The shop had the rear colour here and there taken up mostlly by the gemstones. the shop was mostly blacck. fortune telling globes and wand-pens, bone-pens, skull pen holders adn stuff like that were lined up in front of of register counter where a guy slouched, picking his nails with a completely black dagger with a black gemstone. Lineing the walls were countless daggers, swords of varing type, bows , arrows of different make, the rare shield, spears, one or two lances, and other nameless weapons. (and axes XD) One wall was lined with different types of posions and poisons behind a locked glass cabinet, different deadlyy herbs and their antidotes, petrifided snake fangs with poison on them and other such deadly items. Next to them was a book shelf filled with books about different herbs and weapons, a magick book here adn there, books about how to kill with what item, things that noramly would not be seen in a fortunetelling shop. A bell hang from the door but the ony custemors who ever enter are those who either want to sell the owner deadly weaopns and items or come with an assassination request. The owner's promise is that he;d complete everythingle request no matter the dead-line or conditions.
The owner wen by the name of Shadow or The Shadow or Shade if you are a regular custemor.

radioactive

A science mission gone very wrong. Annihilation of most of the earth's population. No Adults to make things right. Chaos. Destruction. Mutation.

It was a normal day when a rocket sent into another galaxy veered of course and got pulled towards a planet with extreme radioactivity. No one had anticipated that the planet would explode because of this slight disturbance. And no one had even thought in there worst nightmare that the pieces of this planet would crash into earth 70 years later and encase earth in deadly radiation

Earth quakes, and freak storms everywhere. Everyone above the age of 19 dead. The animals mutating, kids developing powers. Food, water, air all contaminated with poison.

the kingdom of ilcor


In the land of Ilcor you live a normal life untill you turn 7. Thats when you have to earn yourself a position:

When you turn 7 years old you get sent into the forest of ellwood to retreave a dragon egg. If you retreave an egg you go to dragon riders school. If you don't your either dead or unlucky. The ones who failed go home.



At the age of 12 the failers must go to the ocean (they can breath because of this magic breathing necklace), they must retreave a pearl from deadly clams. If you manage to bring a pearl you become a witch or a wizard. You go to the witch and wizard school. If you fail you either died or are unlucky. The failers go home.



At the age of 14 the rest go into a burning feild with fire proof clothes and you must retreave a sword or a bow and arrow. If they do they become worriers and they go to the worrier's school. Btw. ON the feild you had to escape it too. you had to use the weapon you had picked up to fight. Your clothes stops small burns but deons't keep out the heat or if you stand in the fire for long the clothes will not help you.



At the age of 16 the rest have to climb a monster infested mountain to get a flask of water. If they do they become traders, travelers, farmers, servants and maids. The rest died or....



The rest become slaves, bandits, pirates, theifs. some run into the forest, others run to the sea.






The only time you ever mingle is while in the village or the market or in special events. The top three are seen by the lower two? as arrogant and rich. The top three seem teh other two as poor, weak and losers.
