It's been a while since we've had one of these, so I thought it would be good if i did one.

The setting: It's in a future where technology is advanced and magic is a thing. You're all taking part in a government initiative where you'll all be part of a squad and take part in governmental missions assigned to you by the artificial intelligence put in charge of the initiative while watching out for any traitors within your fellow players.

Making characters:

CLASS:Basically anything that fits into the theme. Necromancers, magic-wielding gunslingers, ye olde medieval archer, anything you can think of for the class.

BACKSTORY: A short backstory of your character before being drafted, maybe how you gained your powers or skills in your class. Your character's bonds and ideals and any secret agendas you happen to have.

ANY BETRAYAL AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT THAT IS DISCOVERED WILL BE PUNISHED SEVERELY

Combat is turn based and an action that has uncertain success will be decided by dice

As your character progresses through the game while remaining alive, they will gain an additional trait of your choice from a selection of 3 that will make your character stronger or give them new abilities.

Edit: When sending character background, the focus will be on your bond and character ideals.

I walk into the armory, I take the m60. For a few days i have been setting up a machine to automate this at the click of a car key. I load the machine and m60 into the trunk of my pickup truck. I walk into the government base. I take my keys of the car and press the button to start the automated gun. the trunk opens and the gun fires 3000 bullets all over the government conplex. I jump onto the floor as I press the button. 1 of the 3000 bullets hit me and the rest are scattered into all the government employees (Including my team members) everyone died and I walk out of the building. I touch my chest and notice I was hit. I walk around the complex looking at the computer that was sending us the missions (Its destroyed) I touch the remains of the computer and I slip down and die of blood loss. All I think to myself is that its all over. THE END (unless geist revives this, if he does THIS WAS A DREAM. I he does not revive this then I will assume this is how it ended)

After making sure there was no danger, they hastily get into the car and begin driving off. With Syn still inside.

Several persons clad in some sort of uniform run out of the building and flee the scene. Followed by 2 men. One is wearing a robotic mask and a dark uniform similar to the others, save for a few symbols that mark him as somebody of a higher authority. The other wears a cloak and looks to be in his early fifties. Upon noticing the blood in the car, both look away and scan the surrounding buildings. Fire magic is readied in the cloaked person's hands.

I hear a sudden cracking sound from in front of the me. The house with the car we are trying to get into begins to slowly crack, and soon you hear the shattering sound of glass.

"Quick we need to get out!" Panicked, and unable to help Syngularity I grab a small canister from my belt and smash it into small petals. Using my abilities I boost myself out, escaping the scene quick.

After escaping I quickly page in Aladrew. "Captain, I wasn't able to get Syngularity out. He's still in the vehicle, but he can turn into a puddle so I'm sure he'll be fine. What is my next orders?"

I await patiently in hopes Syngularity could make it out.

I get an intermission. Listening in I respond, "What is the job you have?" While waiting for a response I check on Syngularity. Seems like he'll be busy for awhile.
