Riddle time

It is possible that some of you may have seen similar puzzles. This is actually quite popular. I saw it somewhere and liked it very much. Let's see who can solve this.

The following 5 people went to meet lucid in giga's car.

1-sims

2-giga

3-pranay

4-soda

5-connor

Soda traded giga's car with lucid for removing his isp vio.

Now they all need to get back to connor's place. Only mode of transport is pranay's bicycle that they carried in giga's car while travelling.

The bicycle can carry only two people at a time. The speed of the bicycle depends on the weight of the heavier person. So if two people are going on it, the speed will be same as the speed when the heavier person is cycling alone.

Following are the speed based on their weights

1- sims takes 1 minute to ride one way

2- giga takes 3 minutes

3- pranay takes 6 minutes

4- soda takes 8 minutes

5- connor takes 12 minutes

So if connor and sims travel together, it will take 12 minutes for one way and one of them has to return with the bicycle to pick others. So if sims returns, it will take 1 minute for him and thus a total of 13 minutes for sims to drop connor and come back for others.

Kerry has given these 5 people a time limit if 30 minutes.

Please tell them what sequence they should follow so that everybody reaches there in 30 minutes and using just the bicycle.

Those who have solved this before please don't ruin it for others.

There should be an extra limitation to the riddle: soda can't go with bicycle alone or you risk losing the bicycle to another trade.

It's a trick question. After you've figured it out there isn't enough time to get them all there within the time limit. Rekt.

32 is the answer you're supposed to get and you have to work out the trick to get it below 30 which you cant do by thinking it in a purely mathematical sense

Well there's 2 possible sequences. One results in 29 minutes, and the other results in 30 minutes.

i got it in 32 and i think i know how to get it to 30 but it's a lot of work unless i'm wrong

there isn't much math involved, you just gotta get the right idea.

ftr i think i know the jist of solving the riddle but i am too lazy to actually figure it out since i suck at math

@helba- not actually- because most people are able to solve equations better than solving inequations. if you try a+b+c+....= 29 it is better than a+b+c+....<= 30. because most noob get confused with the inequality signs.

and the point of some riddles is to distract. You are just trying to act smart by implying that you solved the riddle faster than others. We are glad you feel good.

Solving it by figuring out which combination of the numbers equals 29 is probably harder than solving it the normal way

@pereking- may be you should read the thread OP-

1- i gave you a limit of 30 seconds and you just have to be within the limit.

2- if the limit is predefined, then you can just use the formula and get exact values

3- MOST IMPORTANT PART- i specifically mentioned that this is not my riddle. I found it somewhere and thought it was good. So i shared for the people who are not as smart as you. You are the lord.
