Also, the mafia won that game fair and square. Incomp was an ml. It's designed to have the luxury of being wrong. Even if I get a violation for whatever it is you can come up with, the game shouldn't be refunded because my choice didn't give any huge advantages. I could have just as easily picked another play and been wrong. I chose him with good reason, and it didn't pan out. I mean, this game went to 3-way and you mean to tell me that the mafia didn't EARN that?
As it is obvious, Solaster, games don't happen that often when i play. At best, there are 3 tables open. Of those 3, probably only 2 are setups I want to play. I am not going to just quit playing because some guy has a problem with me. I have no idea what you could give me a violation for, but it shouldn't be for grudge lynching (because I didn't), nor gamethrowing (I definitely thought of my win condition when making that call).
OK, way to put words in my mouth. I was in 2 games where I won, he disliked that I won, and as a result got irritated. I was never at any point in time irritated with him. I did not grudge him at all, but when it became apparent that he was still stuck on having a poor attitude, I decided it would be best to just get that out of the way. I had no grudge because I never even lost to him. He lost to me, persisted to carry an attitude, and I decided to just choose him, come what may. At worst, it's an RL. It's not grudge, stop calling it that. I did what I thought would advance my win condition, and that of the others.
Also, I would like to know in what category of rule-breaking grudge lynching falls under. I have been the victim of grudge lynching before, reported it, and watched it get dismissed.
This is how I felt: Incomp had become biased against more than one player over the course of several games (thrillvy can attest to this). With this in mind, it seemed most logical to remove this bias from play. I did not have any evidence to suggest he was mafia or town, but rather evidence that suggested his presence would effect both mine and my fellow town member's ability to accurately assess him later.
In short, I saw his demeanor and current decision making ill-fit for success, and acted upon said opinion by removing what I saw as a threat.
I know he is running and all, so he doesn't wanna feel cheated. But I didn't grudge kill him at all, and I even explain in the GY that I thought it logical and not at all biased. Additionally, Incomp 100% grudged me ina prior game, but really it's not a BD. I only say that to have this report closed quicker.
